I am a reporter with a unique beat. I use my understanding of planetary cycles to provide advance notice and analysis on the Zeitgeist of the day. If you have ever wondered “why is this happening now,” my insights will transform your experience of the headlines, adding new meaning and understanding. Call it Astrology for News Junkies. If you’re curious to know why the Impossible Burger is trending…or why the outcome of the 2019 Israeli elections was likely to be a shocker …or why “Woodrow Wilson, Stud Muffin” was a New York Times headline in December 2013, you will find it here, in over a decade’s worth of historical research and reporting.
Note that I do use astrological jargon in The Forecast in my effort to show how the planetary patterns are reflected in mundane events. I explain what the jargon symbolizes, so that all who want to understand the connections between astrology and the news may do so. However, I do not use astrological jargon in personal consultations, just plain English.

Tuesday 9/22/2020: Late Sneak Peek at the Week; Ruthless
/in The ForecastAlllll righty then!
Because I was too focused yesterday on finishing my next “Charts in the News” column for Mountain Astrologer, the Sneak Peek at the Week was delayed. Upside: I got to read Beth Owl’s Daughter’s Really Useful Tarot Card of the Week before I started writing, and was delighted by this opening quote:
I did a lot of appreciating beauty yesterday, the second day of a spontaneous end-of-the-season escape to Shelter Island. It really is an island, accessible only by ferry. After filing my TMA column around tea time, I crossed paths with a number of deer, woodchucks, squirrels and rabbits — none of whom appeared to have any knowledge of the Supreme Court, money-laundering or Lindsay Graham. I look forward to more of such encounters during my escape.
Major patterns of note:
Day by day it goes like this:
Usually I do an analysis of the chart for the Autumnal Equinox set in Washington, D.C. The chart for a change of seasons is a turning point and can be used to assess potential for the next three months. All I have to say about this chart is that the Ascendant is 0 degrees Scorpio. The early degree suggests that there is much Free Will at play; it’s too soon to tell how it will all go down. But because my Gemini Moon is inclined to be generous with its time and wealth of information, I had to explore the Sabian Symbol for that early Scorpio Ascendant.
“A sight-seeing bus” conveys a friendly and open approach that reminds me of the wisdom of seeking beauty in all things, as Beth Owl’s Daughter’s Tarot Card advises. It’s quite a surprise to read the words “open approach” with anything related to Scorpio, as Sabian Sage Blain Bovee remarks here. But that’s how he suggests we play this hand — as a a tourist on a wild ride or a magical mystery tour. Bovee’s further advice here feels apt for the current Mars retrograde, arguing against efforts to ram through anything. Mars retrograde actions have a curious way of backfiring once Mars turns direct, which won’t happen until mid-November.
In general, last week we could anticipate:
(A pause, while my train of thought is interrupted by a female cardinal chirping on the patio. A cardinal visit in honor of the equinox?)
Right. Onward.
This is one of the biggest stories of the week — and fans of Sarah Kendzior’s book, Hiding in Plain Sight will appreciate it:
More news from underground:
Avid Readers may recall that planetary patterns argued for a resurgence of Covid-19 this fall, as Mars activates Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter-Pluto move to their third and final conjunction (exact November 12th). We are in fact seeing a second wave in Europe, and in the UK they are preparing for another lockdown.
Meanwhile…
Last week’s Venus-Uranus square suggested a startling expression of values, likely involving technology and/or outer space:
The Venus-Uranus square was the set-up for last week’s New Moon, which we anticipated would affect the U.S. thusly:
“Two men placed under arrest” refers to Mercury at 18 Libra in the chart for the New Moon. Last Friday, with the Moon at 18 Libra (astrology is amazing), we learned of the death of Supreme Court Justice and fiery dissenter Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Within an hour, Mitch McConnell announced he’d waste no time in filling Ginsburg’s seat (making this a priority over voting on legislation to ease the suffering of those still financially hurt by the ongoing pandemic). A truckload of Republican Senators who swore in 2016 on the graves of their grandmothers that they would never ever ever every consider filling a Supreme Court seat during the 2020 election year threw their own words under the bus. It’s all quite “arresting,” this “suspension of normal rules,” hmm?
Well. We knew October was going to be a wild ride. Thank goodness for astrology to manage expectations. Meanwhile, Avid Reader Katya had a few deep thoughts on the symbolism of last week’s Venus-Uranus disruption:
Avid Reader Katya’s musings reminded me of something astrologer Michael Lutin penned back in 2012 — about the ingress of the fixed star Regulus into Virgo. In his view, the naked boys can power grab with all their might, but the future is decidedly female.

Monday 9/14/2020: Sneak Peek at a Big News Week; New Moon in Virgo
/in The ForecastGood Morning!
The Leo Moon squared Uranus at 5:33 AM ET, suggesting an upset to the status quo that might get East Coasters out of bed. And in fact, I did wake up this morning before my alarm went off. Coincidence or conspiracy? A Leo Moon needs to shine — and those are your marching orders today. Be creative in the ways that only you can be — and look for ways to help others shine, too. When was the last time you paid someone a compliment? Try it, you’ll like it — especially with the Moon in a cooperative connection with Mercury at 10:53 AM ET. Mercury refers to how we need to think and communicate.
The past few days and next few days are under the influence of the Virgo Sun’s trine to Pluto at 7:05 PM ET, as well as its trine to Saturn on THURSDAY. We see an easy consolidation of earthly power and structures in all matters of will. Could be a CEO or head of state — but it also applies in your own personal world, especially if you have planets between 17 and 26 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn. What is consolidated likely incorporates the big vision — or delusion — of last week’s patterns involving the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune.
The rest of the week goes like this:
Here is the New Moon in Virgo, set in Washington DC:
It’s fascinating that this New Moon is happening exactly at sunrise — notice the Sun and Moon are sitting right on the 25 Virgo Ascendant — but in the 12th house, not the 1st. There’s a private, insider’s perspective suggested. The Sabian Symbol for the last New Moon — in Leo — was….”daybreak.” Remember? And now we have an actual daybreak. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a horoscope with Sun-Moon exactly on the Ascendant. What you see — symbolized by the Ascendant — is what you get (the energy of the Sun, driven by the needs of the Moon). It’s all about discernment, refinement — a mental, practical, earthy refinement of details seeking perfection. Hmm.
Sun-Moon-Ascendant in Virgo are past their respective trines (harmonies) with Jupiter (expansion), Pluto (power/resources) and opposition with Neptune (fog/vision). Next stop: a harmony with Saturn in Capricorn, looking to structure those details into an ambitious, authoritative form. Hmm.
Both the Ascendant and the Midheaven are ruled by Mercury at 17 Libra, which 1) is exactly square to Jupiter; and 2) is sitting right on P45’s Jupiter. In general, we anticipate seeds for a big communication initiative or an opinion — in publishing or the courts, for example. Specifically, we anticipate that communication/opinions are likely to be related to P45’s expansion and fortune, for better or for worse. The Sabian Symbol for this Mercury is “two men placed under arrest” — suggesting a time out, a captivating piece of information and/or a suspension of normal rules — as things are sorted out — as Sabian Sage Blain Bovee explains. Hmm. The Midheaven refers to heads of state and CEOs.
Mercury will enter another shadow period and turn retrograde during this lunar cycle, so delays would not be unexpected. After Mercury squares Jupiter, it will square Pluto and Saturn, suggesting 1) extremes in mindset and 2) focused or heavy thinking, including potential blocks.
Not being a psychic, I can’t see the specifics of how the time stamp of this New Moon will manifest in the news, but we’ll all know it when we see it. You are more personally affected by the New Moon’s seed-planting potential if you have a planet around 25 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius, including those born around the 18th of September, December, March and June. Consult your local astrologer for details.
The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon is “a boy with a censer” — i.e., “a youth carrying a vessel that burns incense to purify the air, evoking an atmosphere readied for divine presence,” says Bovee. Hmm. Such a scent could be arresting, too — or maybe it just stinks. “Incense” also means to inflame, which reflects the potential of Mars in fiery Aries, continuing through this lunar cycle. Bovee offers these coping strategies.
And now, the news.
File these under Venus (women, money, art, social expression) square Uranus (out of this world, innovation, aerospace, technology, astrology):
File this under Sun-Mercury with Jupiter-Pluto (power, expansion, publishing):
I promised you that the Sun with Jupiter and Neptune would deliver big ocean news:
UPDATE: on Alexander Vindman, whose horoscope has at least two planets activated by Jupiter turning direct over the weekend. He’s breaking his silence and will be interviewed on NBC tonight. Another interview has just been published in The Atlantic. “Alexander Vindman: ‘Trump is Putin’s Useful Idiot'”
Supporting Vindman’s claims is journalist Sarah Kendzior, whose riveting book, Hiding in Plain Sight connected all the dots before most people knew there were dots to connect. Read it for yourself and you, too, may be motivated to volunteer for organizations that are sending out postcards to voters in swing states, encouraging them to register and vote. Kendzior is a Virgo, driven by Moon in Leo or Virgo — we don’t have a birth time. The persuasive force of her Mars-Pluto conjunction in oh-so evident in her writing style, which is relentless, ruthless and impressive. This conjunction — like patterns in Vindman’s horoscope — is being activated by Jupiter turning direct and by retrograde Mars. This suggests expansion and provocation, for better or worse. If this is the first time you’ve heard of her, you’re hearing about her now courtesy of what’s going on in her horoscope! Astrology is amazing.
What going on in your horoscope? Are you up for a period of expansion and/or provocation? Here’s the 411 on personal consultations. If you’re not in need of a consultation, but find these weekly forecasts insightful and entertaining, Avid Reader Diane invites you to support the work with Moon in Leo appreciation, facilitated by the Cosmic Tip Jar.
Thank you for reading this forecast. Remember that all of the world’s problems have been resolved. We just haven’t gotten to that moment in time. But we will.
Saturday & Sunday 9/12-13/2020: Catching Up on the News; 9/11 Memorial
/in The ForecastAlll—righty then!
Let’s start with a recap of the forecast for the weekend…
No sleeping in on MONDAY. The Leo Moon will not be void, and it squares Uranus at 5:33 AM ET, suggesting an upset to the status quo getting East Coasters out of bed. Sun will trine Pluto at 7:05 PM ET and then trine Saturn on THURSDAY, facilitating earthy power and structures in all matters of will. Could be a CEO or head of state — but it also applies in your own personal world, especially if you have planets between 18 and 26 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn. More upsets in matters of money, social expression, aesthetics and women are suggested by the disruptive buzz of an exact square between Venus and Uranus, exact on TUESDAY.
And now, the news.
Mars turning retrograde in Aries on Wednesday suggested news of sudden breaks in the action, aggression, heat, fire, red and all things male. The headlines delivered:
Meanwhile…
Add in the symbolism of the Virgo Sun trining Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto AND opposing Neptune (last week into next), and we anticipate themes of refugees, charity, healing, fantasy, drugs, oil, oceans, dreams — also involving authority and the Powers That Be, thusly:
Take out Mars and just keep the optimistic Sun-Jupiter trine, opposing rose-colored Neptune:
In Blue State Land, we see the above patterns reflected in a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Democratic Party happening on Sunday night. It’s an original cast reunion for a reading of “The Princess Bride“ — film, glamour, charity and fantasy, big time — right? Moon will be in Leo — if not big time, it’s certainly show time.
Meanwhile, in Red State Land, we saw the same above patterns reflected at a jam-packed rally of P45 supporters in Michigan. Most were not wearing masks — and when asked why, one said that Covid was a hoax and another said he was protected by the Lord.
I promised you stories of drugs and leaders, and we really did get them:
I promised you some noteworthy delays:
Here is a chardonnay for Mars — retrograde in Aries:
In other news…
Yesterday was September 11th — a solemn day in the United States. This year feels like a never-ending 9/11 — only without the necessary time we need to actually stop and mourn what has been lost. Last year I re-posted what I’d written about finding silver linings in that tragic and cathartic experience — and here it is again, hopefully none the worse for wear:
I wrote all that on a day with Moon in Leo — which is where the Moon will be as of 11:32 AM ET on Sunday (9/13). So it’s appropriate to include the rest of my 9/11 musings:
Meanwhile, if you’d like a few paragraphs of insights on how the Mars retrograde is likely to activate your horoscope, you can still toss $44 into the Cosmic Tip Jar as a Joyful Random Expression of Appreciation. Or you can plan an in-depth strategy into 2021 with a personal consultation. Astrologers are like dentists, doncha’ know. If you haven’t seen yours in over a year, you are due for a check-up.

Monday 9/6/2020: Sneak Peek at the Week; Mars Retrograde Survival Guide
/in The ForecastIt’s a holiday weekend in the U.S. — huzzah! Moon is in Taurus, facilitating efforts to preserve the status quo and build material comfort & security. Venus entered Leo early this morning, seeking drama & showmanship in social expression. Thus it was a fine day for sensual delights: good food, wine, music and a snuggle with your sweetie. Acting in alignment with such planetary patterns, I indulged myself at the local farmers’ market — and brought home some flowers, too. You?
With one exception, planetary patterns are sooooooo much more chill this week. The pressure has backed off the three big planets in Capricorn (Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto) until the Autumnal Equinox. Yes, warrior Mars is in focus this week, but without provocation from other planets until the end of September. Take your vitamins and build your stamina in preparation for October, when the titans clash again.
Here’s how this week goes:
We experience Mars retrogrades “every two years or so,” according to an official NASA site — which also offers a nifty animation explaining why planets seem to be move backwards in the sky from our point of view — even though they really don’t.
Mars is the planet of desire, action, anger and assertion. Moving backwards is not comfortable for Mars! Thus, many people find themselves more irritated, impatient and frustrated than usual. Why aren’t things moving forward fast enough? It feels like a truck spinning its wheels in the mud. Frustration built up can lead to an urge to jump into action — rashly. Resist this urge!
A more appropriate use of Mars retrograde is to treat it as an opportunity to plan strategy. Think of a coach calling a time out on the playing field. Mars retrograde is a good time to huddle — to turn inward — and reflect upon or talk about a strategy for…oh…in this case…launching new crusades and self-determination — suggested by Mars being in retrograde in ARIES.
The last time Mars was retrograde in Aries was in 1988, from late August through late October. Was it mere coincidence that I found myself last night watching Dangerous Liaisons (tagline: “Love. Seduction. Revenge. The game as you’ve never seen it played before.”), produced and released in 1988? Other than being a timeless story with gorgeous costumes and production design, brilliant acting, writing and directing, Dangerous Liaisons is a cautionary tale for a common Mars retrograde pitfall: acting on reckless desire. Why do people so such things? The last line in the trailer for the film nails it: “Immaturity.”
What does it suggest if you were born with Mars retrograde? Book an appointment and we’ll talk about it. Or if you’d just like a few insights on how this Mars retrograde is likely to activate your unique horoscope over the next few months, toss $44 into my Cosmic Tip Jar as a Joyful Random Expression of Appreciation and email me your birth data (if I don’t already have it), using this contact form.
Mars retrograde in Aries be like…these guys ^^
Back to the forecast for the week:
And now, the news.
Gratitude to Avid Reader Andre who wanted to make sure I didn’t forget to share this cool story reflecting the Sabian Symbol for the First Quarter Moon — “two men playing chess.” Behold! Here is a story of “unprecedented circumstances” in a recent chess Olympiad. The usual rules didn’t apply — true to potential of that Sabian Symbol!
Meanwhile…
When a planet is about to change direction, it slows to a virtual standstill. The effect is like a driver leaning on the horn of her car: a blaring focus — on whatever the planet represents. That’s how I interpret what happened on a lake in Austin, Texas on Saturday. Five boats in a big boat parade were swamped — and sank — in perfectly fine weather. How could this happen? With a me-me-me-first Aries Moon, amplified by a square to power-driven Pluto AND a meet-up with horn-blowing, stationary retrograde Mars, that’s how!
In other news…
Wednesday’s Sun-Uranus trine suggested news of aviation, astrology, technology — with an unusual spin.
The Sun refers to the heart. Add in last week’s harmony among Mercury (news), Saturn (death) and Pluto (the macabre; underground) and squirm over: “Heart of Belgian city mayor found entombed in city fountain.”
Elsewhere, Venus was stressed all week by a face-off with lean, mean Saturn and Pluto — followed by a contentious square to Mars. Venus refers to women, nurturing, money, art and social expression:
Mars refers to iron and diamonds. With Mars slowing to a standstill, how interesting that Avid Reader Diane would send me these two stories today:
Mars refers to the military. Venus refers to social expression/values. Mercury at the Aries Point suggests prominence given to letters and words. Headlines going into the weekend included:
OK, fine — but this is an astrology blog, so how does what’s going in P45’s horoscope relate to what’s going on in his life? When we look ahead, we can be prepared, right? And what we see is transiting Jupiter (expansion, braggadocio, luck) in a tense square to his natal Jupiter for the past few weeks — and will be there for the rest of the month. He will have two exact hits on the 7th and the 18th. We see how boundaries are likely to be pushed, and in his horoscope, Jupiter refers to ego-recognition and self-expression. OK, fine.
Countering the expansive potential suggested by Jupiter is the second of three exact oppositions to his natal Venus from transiting Saturn. We anticipate a karmic reckoning related to his values, social expression, siblings, professional status and reputation. That aspect was exact today — September 6th. And here’s how astrology never fails to amaze. Michael Cohen’s tell-all book is due on September 8th — after the exact Saturn-Venus opposition. But newspapers got their hands on it last night — and wrote about it TODAY. Meanwhile, Doonesbury cartoonist Garry Trudeau found a creative way to hold P45 accountable — in today’s strip! Timing is everything in astrology. Right? The third Saturn – Venus opposition happens on October 21st, so when The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief says there will be more to report on P45 in the coming days and weeks, I believe him.
The Atlantic has an interesting history. It’s no surprise to see it making waves now, looking at the planetary patterns of November 1, 1857 in Boston. That’s when it published its first issue. Currently its Scorpio Sun is being super-charged by transiting Uranus — a break-out and/or a shake-up. It has an exact square between Mercury and Saturn, suggesting a heavy factual mindset. This square is being activated in 2020 by Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, with Mars being the trigger right now. Opposing The Atlantic’s Scorpio Sun are three planets in Taurus: Moon, Pluto and Jupiter. We see the potential for The Atlantic to attract tremendous power and resources in its quest to present information that is The Way Things Should Be. The Atlantic‘s current majority shareholder certainly has power and resources: Laurene Powell Jobs is a billionaire philanthropist. She’s a Scorpio, too.
Closing with a fun sneak peeks at stories we’ll see more of this week, reflecting the Sun’s trine to Jupiter (BIG!) and opposition to Neptune (oceans):
Who remembers Tahlequah — the grieving killer whale? She made headlines in the summer of 2018, right around the second of three trines between Jupiter in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. She had given birth to a calf that died — and Tahlequah would not let her baby go — for 17 days — absolutely heartbreaking. Two years later, as we are approaching the second sextile between Jupiter and Neptune (exact October 12th), how wonderful it is to learn that Tahlequah has been spotted off the coast of Washington — with a new calf! Fingers crossed that “J57” continues to thrive. Maybe J57 will get a proper name around October 12th. I hope so.
Thank you for reading this forecast — and sharing it with your friends. Special thanks to Avid Reader Alison who responded to my last post with a rousing “Yes! I do wait with bated breath for your weekly missives! Another great one!” And then Alison headed over to the Cosmic Tip Jar to become a Faithful Monthly Subscriber. Wheeeee!
Monday 8/31/2020: Late Sneak Peek at the Week; Full Moon in Pisces; A Militant Week in Review
/in The ForecastHappy last day of August! We are now officially two-thirds of the way through 2020.
This week features a Full Moon, a mostly well-supported & high-functioning Mercury, a stressed-out Venus and plenty of innovation. What does it all mean? I’ll tell you.
The Moon’s next aspect is a cooperative sextile to Uranus, exact at 2:04 AM ET. Can’t we all get along? See things from a different point of view? Innovation and cooperation among different factions is reinforced by a trine (harmony) between Uranus and the Virgo Sun (watch for tech breakthroughs, revolution, aviation and astrology in the headlines), exact at 10:08 AM ET.
Before the Sun-Uranus trine, however, we have a not-so-fast opposition between Venus (women, values, social expression, art) and Saturn (streamlining, authority, patriarchy, controls) at 8:17 AM ET. We anticipate news involving women of steel, fiscal cuts and other disciplined controls, for better or worse. Seeds that were planted around mid-December 2019 may be up for illumination now. If you have a planet around 25 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra, you may be feeling the potential chill or squeeze more than most.
But that’s not all. After its opposition to Saturn, Venus will square Mars, exact on Friday. Sparks may fly between the sexes. Note that Venus is in Cancer — focused on home and family security — while Mars (men, action, anger, guns) is all fired up in me-me-me-Aries.
Meanwhile, Mercury (how we need to think) in this Full Moon chart is trining Pluto and Saturn, so we see the potential aforementioned stellar investigative reporting, plus effective communication in matters of power and authority. The Moon rules this DC chart and is in the 9th House. We see a focus on court opinions, publishing, collective belief systems, travel, foreigners.
The Sabian Symbols for the Full Moon are: “men seeking illumination” (for the Pisces Moon) and “a boy molded in his mother’s aspirations for him” (for the Virgo Sun). A Pisces Full Moon pits the need to believe (in a wet dream?) against the Virgo Sun’s dry matters of fact. How do the Sabian Symbols color this conflict and/or revelation? Bovee seems to suggest in his most excellent book on the subject (Google it) that we should focus on the origins of the path we are following. Are you headed for a destination you have chosen for yourself — or did someone else impose it upon you? Wherever you’re headed, Bovee implies that this is not the time to hold your breath. I interpret this to mean that we must continue to invest in the journey by taking in and letting out. We may pause to consider our course and whether what we’ve planted will bear fruit, but we can’t freeze in anticipation. We can’t just “wait and see.”
I don’t know how these Symbols will play out in the headlines this week, but they will. They always do. Meanwhile, Beth Owl’s Daughter’s Tarot Card of the Week echoes the virtues of taking stock of what has taken root at this time. I think her Seven of Pentacles is an apt reflection of the oppositions of Venus to Jupiter, Saturn and Capricorn — as well as the Full Moon.
Back to…
General notes on the astrology of September:
Please tell me you are registered to VOTE.
Please tell me you are planning to VOTE EARLY.
Please tell me you have completed the US CENSUS form online.
And now, the news…
…which I wasn’t quite so focused on last week, as I escaped to a breezy beach, far from the madding crowd. Still, I note that what happened was in sync with what was anticipated.
First the Sabian Symbol for the First Quarter Moon suggested paying close attention to the rules of a chess game being broken — remember? In the U.S., “Breaking norms” was all over the headlines with respect to the
RepublicanDonald John Trump National Convention, which is a polite (and arguably cowardly) way of saying “blatantly illegal.”Second, Venus in opposition to Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn and trine retrograde Neptune, suggested wretched excess and reward only to those deemed worthy by a certain undignified elite, colored in deceptive shades of rose. The retrograde status of Jupiter and Neptune suggests a need for a re-think or that there may be a double agenda.
Here’s who wasn’t at last week’s gathering: dozens of former Bush, Romney and McCain staffers – who have now pledged to vote for Joe Biden. Former Assistant Secretary of Counterterrorism and Threat Prevention Elizabeth Neumann — a P45 appointee in the Dept of Homeland Security — wasn’t there, either. She has been making rounds elsewhere — along with one of the most compelling videos on the dangers of a second P45 term. She says she voted for him in 2016 because of his alleged pro-life stance on abortion. That was a deal breaker for her then — but not now.
Meanwhile…
Avid Readers were warned months ago that when Mars entered Aries and squared Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, all things martial were likely to be on the rise. That includes hair-trigger tempers and being trigger-happy in general — and here I am thinking of the awful shootings in Kenosha, WI on the part of 1) police officer Rusten Sheskey and 2) a 17-year old from Illinois who traveled with his illegal AR-15 to Kenosha (to “assist” local law enforcement), and ended up murdering two people and wounding a third. The president of the United States has just compared Rusten Sheskey’s lethal assault on Jacob Blake to that of a golfer missing a three-foot putt — and earlier today, he defended the 17-year old who has been charged with reckless homicide.
That paragraph was really, really, really hard to write.
Heather Cox Richardson has more on today’s headlines.
In other militant discipline Mars-Saturn news…
Just in time for an illuminating Full Moon (and high-functioning Mercury trine Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto):
Here’s an interesting tidbit from my forecast posted on May 3, 2019:
…and as Pluto is not done with Rosenstein’s Sun…and other planets in his horoscope were eclipsed on the June 21st eclipse, I expect we will be hearing more from him soon.
In other news…we anticipated that last week would be big in finance (including the markets).
Are you registered to vote? Have you requested an absentee ballot — in case you need it? If you vote by absentee ballot, plan to mail it weeks in advance, as Mercury turns retrograde on October 13th.
I may write about actor Chadwick Boseman for my next column in Mountain Astrologer — but here is what we know about his horoscope. His passing at age 43 from colon cancer was a shock — as it was not public knowledge that he was diagnosed four years ago. As a tribute to his brilliant career and legacy, last night ABC aired The Black Panther — commercial free.
Have you noticed that people are now saying “Rest in power” instead of “Rest in peace”? It started this year, after Saturn (death) met up with Pluto (power) in Capricorn. Coincidence or conspiracy?
If you are the kind of Avid Reader who opens this forecast the minute it arrives in your inbox, why not support the time and effort it takes to create it? Here is the link to my Cosmic Tip Jar, where Joyful Random and Faithful Monthly Expressions of Appreciation can be made, with gratitude.
Finally, leave it to John Oliver to succinctly recap the highlights of the RNC’s “Full-Throated Denial of Objective Reality” in his latest episode of Last Week Tonight. He addresses the violent incidents in Kenosha, as well as other — more productive — militant efforts taken in response. And here I’m referring to the professional athletes (Mars!) in the NBA, WNBA, et. al, who went on strike. As a condition of returning to work, the NBA demanded that their sports arenas be used as polling places on Election Day.
Thank you for reading this forecast. Here’s the 411 on personal consultations.
