Astro-logical Forecast for Tuesday 12/1/2015
Good Morning!
While you were sleeping, the regal Leo Moon made easy connections to mental Mercury and technogeek Uranus. At 9AM ET, Mercury and Uranus will make an equally easy connection between themselves. Wake up with any revolutionary, bolt from the blue ideas? You could build it into something big by Friday, when Mercury squares off with expansive Jupiter.
Donald Trump certainly had a revolutionary idea on Monday. He told CNN he wanted $5 million for his participation in the next Republican debate on December 15th. Let’s see where that idea is at the end of the week.
Keep up the good work throughout the day and chill after 10:09PM ET, when the Moon goes void until 5:09AM ET Wednesday.
And now, the news.
I wrote about China’s horoscope on August 14th, when it had just…
… devalued its currency. A quick look at its horoscope shows transiting Pluto (transformation, power plays, cutting dead wood) in hard aspect to nebulous Neptune and mental Mercury. The Neptune thing can be weird — and refers to matters involving China’s 2nd house (money, worth, values) and 10th house (status, reputation). The Mercury thing refers to matters of the 5th and 8th houses, e.g. relationships with other, self-expression and values relative to others. The Pluto-Mercury thing can be quite forceful and persuasive. These patterns will be back for a final pass in October-December, accompanied by another measurement between Saturn (control, structure, limit) and Venus (money, values, social expression). Hard aspects between Saturn and Venus can be experienced as isolating and streamlining. Let’s see what happens.
Add “ambitious” and “authoritative” in matters of social expression and value, regarding potential reflections of Saturn transits to Venus. Yesterday China’s renminbi was named a world reserve currency by the IMF, joining the dollar, the euro, the pound and the yen. That’s serious (Saturn) money (Venus).
Not quite sure what planetary folder to use for filing this item, but it did occur to me that Venus (women, aesthetics) just met up with Spica, a fixed star associated with these qualities
learned, philosophical, eloquent, creative, clever, artistic, pleasure-loving, practical, high-minded and successful, but sometimes fickle or promiscuous…
…and these qualities do seem to reflect the aesthetics in the hot-off-the-press 2016 Pirelli calendar. Traditionally the calendar features nude supermodels. This year is different:
Gone are the gym-toned limbs and heaving bosoms; in their place for the 2016 calendar, shot by Annie Leibovitz, are simple portraits of women of various sizes, ages and ethnicities chosen for their “professional, social, cultural, sporting and artistic accomplishment”
Perhaps this could also be filed under the potential reality check Saturn might reflect as it squares Neptune, symbol of idealized beauty? Yes, that feels right. There is an upside to every transit, bewildering as Saturn-Neptune transits might generally be.
Saturn refers to the elderly. In the aftermath of Sunday’s Sun-Saturn meet-up, sprinkled with pixie-dusted Neptune, consider this piece about the world’s second-oldest woman celebrating her 116th birthday. What’s her secret? Living alone (Saturn) — and lots of eggs.
Finally, for no particular reason other than it is cool, consider this item about the world’s oldest known bird in the wild: a 64-year old albatross named Wisdom. She was recently spotted in the Pacific with her mate. Humbling and awe-inspiring, if you ask me.
I don’t know anything about Wisdom’s horoscope, but I’d be delighted to discuss yours. Here’s the 411 on personal consultations. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Thank you for sharing this forecast with all of your friends, family, party planners, conference organizers, literary agents, magazine editors and programming directors. Have a fabulous day!
