Monday 4/11/2022: Sneak Peek at the Week: Jupiter Conjunct Neptune in Pisces; Full Moon in Libra
The Moon is in Leo, driving the start of the work week with a need to shine – and help others, shine, too. Here’s how it goes:
- MONDAY: Perhaps an upset in the wee hours, as the Leo Moon squares rebel Uranus at 2:25 AM ET. Structuring an appropriate response may require careful navigation — with a sigh of relief around 10:30 AM ET, as if no longer being caught between a rock and a hard place. Moon is well-supported for the rest of the day by a trine (harmony) with the Aries Sun, so keep on truckin.’ Push may come to shove in the late evening, as the stubborn Leo Moon opposes equally stubborn Saturn in Aquarius at 8:50 PM ET. In this contest, Saturn (authority/control) may rain on Leo’s royal parade. Next stop for the Leo Moon is an opposition to warrior Mars at 6:16 AM ET on…
- TUESDAY. Find a productive outlet for that early morning assertive energy, and don’t make a mountain out of molehill. Moon will be void until 10:07 AM ET, so chill, chill, chill! Once the Moon enters Virgo, make whatever was in the works on Monday even better. Now is the time for sorting, organizing and selling your improved pitch. Meanwhile, at 10:42 AM ET, the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces we’ve been talking about for months will be exact.
A pause, while we review the potential of this pattern, which has not happened since 1856. A notable development during that time was the rise of Spiritualism, especially in America.
In the language of astrology, Jupiter refers to growth, optimism and fortune. It refers to collective belief systems, publishing, religious dogma, court opinions, horses, the liver and the pancreas, etc., etc. Jupiter expands whatever it touches; Neptune dissolves whatever it touches, including boundaries and solid form. Neptune refers to spirits of all kinds, drugs, toxins, chemicals, oceans, dreams and fantasy; photography, music, the lymph system, and the woo-woo.
Jupiter and Neptune function with high-efficiency in Pisces, as they are both rulers of this sign. The keyword for Pisces is I BELIEVE. And what Pisces believes is whatever it feels. Facts really do not enter into the equation. So the upside of Jupiter-Neptune in Pisces is powerful opportunity to plant seeds for making a dream come true — that could be realized a few years from now. An enlightened Pisces dream would involve empathy, compassion and the wisdom of understanding that we are all connected. The shadow side of Jupiter-Neptune in Pisces is belief in flat out lies – i.e., propaganda, disinformation and conspiracy theories. These are not dreams. These are delusions. Watch the headlines today for important clues in this new Jupiter-Neptune cycle.
You are personally affected by this potent seed-planting if you have a planet or angle around 24 Pisces. This includes our VP Kamala Harris, as the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction will square her 24 Gemini Ascendant.
- TUESDAY (cont.): So much can be accomplished in the early part of this week, especially if you are a fearless leader in government, business or your own personal fiefdom. I say this because at 8:14 PM ET, the high-functioning Aries Sun sextiles high-functioning Saturn in Aquarius. Make the most this cooperative, communicative pattern by laying down a foundation to support your heart’s desire. For me, that means doing more teaching. What about you?
- WEDNESDAY: Think outside the box; reach across the aisle. The Virgo Moon trines Uranus at 11:15 AM ET.
- THURSDAY: Note your dreams, as the Virgo Moon opposes Jupiter and Neptune between 6 AM and 7 AM ET. Emotional depth is added to your analysis around 2 PM ET, when Moon trines Pluto — and then goes void until 4:45 PM ET. Once the Moon enters Libra, the need is to use diplomacy and rational thinking to restore fairness and balance. Meanwhile, at 11:05 PM ET, Mars leaves Aquarius and joins Jupiter, Neptune and Venus in Pisces. Mars refers to assertion, anger and how we need to execute an action plan. Mars in Pisces often operates like a hot poker plunged into a vat of cold water. It steams rather than confronts issues directly. That steam can also be a camouflage for action, and we will be seeing stories of steamy action in the news until May 25th, when Mars enter Aries. You are more personally affected by the ingress of Mars in Pisces if you are Mitch McConnell, whose 1 Pisces Sun should be feeling mighty provoked and or provocative right about now through Saturday, continuing the provocation he was getting last week, also courtesy of transiting Mars.
- FRIDAY: There are no exact aspects among the planets, so it may feel as if the Libra Moon is void of course, wandering without focus. Emotions are on the rise, however, as the Moon will be full on…
- SATURDAY: at 2:56 PM ET. But first, Moon trines Saturn at 9:06 AM ET, perhaps stabilizing that wandering sense we may have felt on Friday.
Here what the Full Moon in Libra looks like, set in Washington, D.C.:
Observations:
- We can’t help but notice that the Ascendant and MC of this chart are a hair’s breadth away from those in the horoscope of the former guy. So when we look at this Full Moon chart, we see where the planets are at present in his horoscope. Note that Mars in Pisces has just opposed the 29 Ascendant, suggesting that — like Mitch McConnell — TFG is having a provocative week — i.e., attacking, being attacked — or both. Note that Saturn is square the MC, and will be exactly square TFG’s MC on May 1. Astrologer Rob Hand describes transiting Saturn square MC as an “alienation crisis,” perhaps correcting an imbalance between professional goals and core relationships. It may also be a time for a clearly defined professional advance — and note that this Saturn-MC square in TFG’s horoscope is the first of three hits; the others happen in July 2022 and next 2023.
- The 29 Leo Ascendant is conjunct Regulus, a fixed star that has to do with honor and reputation. 29 Leo is President Biden’s North Node, which is conjunct his Chiron at 28 Leo and square his Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio. The fact that Biden’s North Node conjoins TFG’s Ascendant suggests a karmic connection.
- Venus is sextile Mercury-Uranus, suggesting innovation and cooperation in partnerships, perhaps referring to courts, publishing and foreign affairs. This applies to how the US is likely to experience the illumination and release of this Full Moon. Illumination and release of what? Power and resources, as this Full Moon squares the US Pluto.
- In this Full Moon chart, Sun squares Pluto, suggesting a power play or catharsis in the works. We’ll see that in the news on a global scale next week, when the Sun-Pluto square will be exact. Watch for news from underground, including underground power resources — e.g., oil, gas, coal, plutocracies and other dinosaurs desperately scrambling to maintain their hold on society.
- The Sabian Symbols for this Full Moon are “lost opportunity regained in the imagination” (for the Sun) and “an airplane hovering overhead” (for the Moon). I’m already intrigued by the reference to imagination in a week with the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces! Sabian Sage Blain Bovee says that the hovering airplane refers to a powerful possibility that captures our focus above all else, as if we were reacting to the sight of Superman flying overhead (“Look! Up in the sky!”). Everything else fades into the background. The lost opportunity regained in the imagination also refers to a single focus, for better or for worse. Bovee cautions us to focus less on “shoulda woulda coulda” and more on that one solitary hope for attainment…and then do the actual work required to achieve it.
- You are more personally affected by this Full Moon if you are VP Kamala Harris, Justice Sonia Sotomayor and the deceased Justice Antonin Scalia.
Back to The Forecast:
- SATURDAY: (cont) the Libra Moon goes void on its weekly clash with Pluto at 5:56 PM ET. Chill for the next few hours until 8:22 PM ET, when Moon enters Scorpio, demanding emotional depth and substance (but possibly not being willing to talk about it).
- SUNDAY: No Moon void today means you’re free to shop at yard sales without thinking that what you buy might not live up to expectation. Morning and afternoon are relatively quiet, but the Moon gets busy between 6:30 PM and 8 PM ET. First it opposes Mercury (oh, NOW you want to TALK?), then it trines Venus (sweet) and then it gets zapped by Uranus, surprise, surprise. At 9:09 PM ET we have an uncommon alignment between Mercury and Venus, facilitating idealistic communication and cooperation. Could be a notable weekend for people with planets and angles aroundd 13 degrees of just about any sign…including Clarence Thomas, off the top of my head.

I have a truckload of news to report, but if I start now, this forecast won’t ship until midnight. I can, however, offer one story that is in perfect sync with planetary patterns, in addition to Beth Owl’s Daughter’s Tarot Card of the Week.
For Jupiter-Neptune conjunct in Pisces, could there be any story more appropriate than Julian Lennon singing “Imagine” for the very first time? He said he’d never, ever perform it in public — unless it was the “end of the world,” and what is Pisces about, if not endings? He sang it out of empathy and compassion for the people suffering unimaginable horrors in Ukraine.
Another happy bit of news: Britney Spears just announced she’s pregnant with her third child. It’s especially happy for me because I’ve been expecting this news — as you can see from the last line of this article about her horoscope I wrote in March 2021.
Astrology is amazing.
