Friday 2/23/2018 & the Weekend: Some Enchanted Evening

TGIF!!

Buzz, buzz, buzz…goes a Friday driven by the Moon in Gemini. Who’s the smartest kid in the room? Intellect vs. some whack-a-doodle pitch based on Someone’s Feelings About Something may make for an interesting day around 12:51 PM ET. That would reflect the Moon’s square to Mercury in Pisces — not an especially rational placement, as you know.  Moon square nebulous Neptune at 6:28 PM ET, suggests more vision and fog.  A square between Moon and Venus this evening at 11:26 PM ET suggests sensual, entertaining indulgence…but at at 12:57 AM ET on SATURDAY, Moon is opposed by a boundary-pushing Mars. Provocative?

More buzz, buzz, buzz until 2:58 PM ET on SATURDAY, when the Gemini Moon goes void with a sigh. Takes the wind out of your sails when the Moon goes void, does it? Some say that’s what it feels like. Go with the flow; roll with the twists and flakes that may deter your efforts to move forward in a straight line. No impulse shopping during the void, if you please.

When the Moon enters Cancer at 10:06 PM ET, the evening and following days are driven by a need for emotional and family/home/homeland security.  Call it an early date night Saturday and take your significant other home for that nightcap.  SUNDAY’s exact patterns will be felt through the weekend. First — exact at 7:01 AM ET — is a tense square between Venus in Pisces and Mars in Sagittarius. Mars in Sag is the force that needs to push limits, in ways that may be enthusiastic, but somewhat rough around the edges. Venus in Pisces needs to be empathetic, compassionate and unconditionally loving — perhaps vulnerable to suggestion. This may be experienced as tension between the sexes, subsequently released.  Aiding and abetting said expression is an alluring meet-up between Mercury and Neptune. Pure poetry between the sheets, perhaps — and an inspired backdrop for a marriage proposal or two.  And why not, with a harmony between the Sun and Saturn at 12:46 PM ET? Imagine and make it real. The sky’s the limit, says Mars in Sagittarius.

No sleeping in on MONDAY.

And now, the news…

…brought to you by the rose-colored glasses of Tuesday’s meet-up between Venus (food, art, money, women, social expression) and Neptune (idealism). Add in a well-intended effort at sober thinking suggested by Mercury (thoughts) in harmony with Saturn (reality). If only that Mercury weren’t in illogical Pisces. How about offering bonuses to teachers willing to arm themselves in the classroom as a means of stopping massacres, proposes P45? “A colossally stupid idea,” say the experts. More armed guards in schools? Because all it takes to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun? Right. You know that Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School did have an armed guard — a sheriff’s deputy, in fact — and he was nowhere on the scene when gunfire erupted last week.

Meanwhile, the teens (and their families) who survived last week’s shooting aren’t going anywhere,  challenging lawmakers to do something that would actually be effective.  I wish we had a birth time for Marco Rubio. The patterns in his horoscope suggesting intellectual self-sufficiency (“I have my own thoughts & I don’t need input from anyone else, thank you.”) may have actually have been pierced, if Politico accurately reported: “Facing Jeers and Boos, Rubio Shifts in Tense Gun Forum.”

The potential for America’s delusional love affair with guns is reflected by a combination of two squares in its horoscope: between Mars in Gemini (guns as entertainment) and Neptune in Virgo (fantasy; idealism in service) and its Cancer Sun (homeland security) and Saturn (harsh).  Throw in the towel and start over?

Anyway. Here’s more:

Finally, this intriguing headline. Venus-Neptune in Pisces reflects a novel way to facilitate health and well-being, while slashing costs. Ready? From across the Pond: “The Town That’s Found a  Potent Cure for Illness — Community. ” And speaking of community, thanks to Avid Reader Majie for this lovely video about women intuitively coming together to help a total stranger calm her child in an airport. It takes a village, so  they say…
