Astro-logical Forecast for Friday 12/7/2012 & The Weekend: Oy to the Voi(l)d!

Moon in discriminating Virgo goes void-of-course at 5:35AM ET, tossing a potential twist into your great plans for perfection. Roll with whatever flakiness crops up; or let your mind wander through a creative brainstorm. When Moon enters people-pleasing Libra at 1:35PM ET, you’ll feel like the clutch has finally engaged.

Friday night into Saturday morning offers potential volatility — a shock of recognition, a flash of insight, a sudden attraction to an unconventional hottie at a holiday party. Things could get intense or juicy overnight, disturbing the Libra Moon’s preference for balance.

Get out the checkbooks and credit cards on Saturday and shop ’til you drop for those holiday gifts, because Moon trine generous Jupiter at 8AM ET lifts spirits and debt ceilings everywhere. If you’re still looking for a Hannukah present that screams “it’s beschert!!”, may I suggest my Special Holiday One-Hour Astro-logical Consultation, available for purchase until January 1st, 2013 (yes, you — or the lucky recipient — may schedule the appointment in 2013).

Saturday is better for shopping than Sunday. Moon goes void at 7:37PM ET on Saturday, on a proactive challenge or assertion of will between Moon and Mars, followed by a “kiss and make up” connection between Sun and Moon. Take advantage of the nice long break until 4:51PM ET on Sunday, when Moon plunges into the watery controls of Scorpio. This abrupt shift from rational mindset to emotional depth and substance is softened by a dreamy connection from nebulous Neptune to the Moon. Music, art, film…or some other romantic or spiritual escape? Anything but shopping, if you please; impulse purchases made during Moon voids are notorious for turning out to be far less satisfactory than you imagined.

Happy Hannukkah — to all who are celebrating — and here’s the 411 on this festival of light if you happen to need an instruction book. And here’s  a clever and entertaining song called “Let’s Have A Jewish Christmas” , too — oy!

Have a wonderful weekend!
